After being locked in the studio for two years of my life throughout lock down like many other artists, i managed to build a pretty substantial amount of work.

‘The use of expressionism informs my ongoing series of simplified architectural compositions, creating the idea of landscape as a structure rather than geographic location. The motive of unique characters defined by line place a narrative into the scene’.
Ascent is a response to the current arts and cultural climate recognising the talent of a series of multi-platform emerging creatives and providing them with the opportunity to showcase their work. Ascent is based in Naarm/Melbourne and will connect audiences to the work and practices of young creatives — setting them against innovative curatorial contexts to develop new modes of exhibition and engagement.
